Seminar on Food regulations in India

Food safety laws in India have undergone a radical change in the last decade. The regulations introduced in recent 2-3 years have the potential to impact food businesses significantly. In order to provide an overview on these regulations, the World Trade Center Kochi in association with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan and TiE Kerala is organizing a seminar on food regulations in India.

Mr. Biju Abraham, GM, District Industries Centre, Ernakulam will be the Chief Guest at the event. Mr. Kunal Kishore, Partner, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, New Delhi will speak on the topic.

Areas to be covered:

Regulations made under FSS Act, including - registration/licensing, standardization, packaging and labelling, advertisement and claims, approval for non-specified food, food recall and auditing.
