We organized a SEZ Open House in association with Cochin Special Economic Zone (CSEZ), Infopark, the Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (SEZEPC) and ICICI Bank at Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Infopark.

The session provided a forum for existing and aspiring SEZ Units, Developers and Co-developers to discuss matters impacting the SEZ ecosystem. Shri N. S. Dev, IRS, Deputy Development Commissioner & Chief Vigilance Officer, CSEZ, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He shared insights on recent policy and regulatory developments and engaged directly with participants, addressing queries on SEZ compliance and operational challenges.

The program also featured presentations by Mr. Krishna M. Barad, Director - Global Trade and Customs, EY, on “SEZ Regulatory Updates, DTA Procurement Challenges and Practical Challenges,” and Ms. M. Manochitra, Chief Manager - Trade Products, ICICI Bank, on “FEMA Regulations 2026.” The session commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Hrishikesh Nair, President, WTC Kochi, and was moderated by Mr. Vivek George, AGM – WTC Kochi. It concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. April Varkey from WTC, followed by networking over high tea.

Organized as the third edition of the SEZ Open House Series, following successful sessions in Chennai and Bengaluru, the program served as a valuable platform for industry-regulator engagement and knowledge sharing.
