In celebration of WTCA Day, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), in collaboration with World Trade Center Pune, hosted a session bringing together the global WTC network, with participation from all major WTCA members in India.

WTCA Day 2026 marks the 24th anniversary of the World Trade Centers Association, proclaimed on June 12, 2002, to recognize the network’s role in facilitating international trade, promoting economic development, and fostering peace. The occasion highlights the strength and relevance of a global network connecting businesses and markets across more than 330 cities in over 100 countries.

As part of this year’s celebrations, the programme, centered on the theme “Connecting Global Opportunities with India’s Growth Story,” featured keynote addresses by Mr. Prakash Javadekar, Former Union Minister, Government of India (via video message), and Mr. Siddharth Shirole, MLA of Maharahstra. The session also included panel discussions with industry leaders and WTC executives on investment opportunities in India and the role of WTCs as a strategic investment multiplier.

The event provided a platform for the participants to connect, exchange insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration, further strengthening global trade relationships.
